Asking for help on behalf of my brother (he doesnt have fb) has anyone had this same problem with their PC when gaming? He has a fairly new 1080ti. I had a problem similar that was my CPU so I am wondering if this would be his CPU too.

Can you test the GPU on another machine and another GPU in that machine? My younger brother had some strange visual anoms with all new hardware - We couldn't find a cause but after reinstalling Windows the visual defects no longer presented themselves - Does it do this with all games, in all dx modes? what is the refresh rate of the monitor.

GPU artifacts, I'd say a dying GPU.

Everything looks perfectly fine to me.

I get similar looking artifacts when I'm a bit naughty with my GPU clocks on my 1080Ti . Try underclocking the GPU and see if they go away. If they do I'd RMA the card

Does it happen with all The games?
Are The cords ok and properly conected?
Check the gfx settings
Check the PSU specs.
Check your gpu drivers and temps.
Did you oc it?
Install an old gpu and see If it still happens.
If all above do not resolve this issue call The Shop and rma the gpu.

how about switching another graphics card and see if the problem still exists, what i know is that is one of indicators that the graphics card is dying or something. let's just hope that it's not the graphics card. RMA it immediately if it is.

Bad GPU usually. RMA/Return regardless if software magically stops the artifacts temporarily.
