As I was playing comp last night, I chose Hanzo. I've been spending ages practicing with him and I was confident I'd do well in comp with him. And I did! Maybe the other team just really sucked or maybe I really have been gittin gud. Who knows. Anyway.
The rest of my team comp was: Mercy, Rein, Soldier, Junk, D.Va.
The match hadn't even started before all of the prepubescents in the team started going in about how Hanzo is trash and I should pick literally anyone else. "We're gonna lose because Hanzo and Genji are useless in comp! Be Lucio or something!"
Yeah. Ok. No.
Match ends. My team won. I took gold in elims by a landslide (43K/10D). Even though my Mercy actively refused to heal or rez me because I wouldn't switch. But I was trash because I didn't get PotG and was Hanzo.
