It a free 2 play game, if you want to rent a server you'll have to pay big for it, they need to make money some how.

+ if you have a big tribe, every can pitch in, 10-20$ a head is much cheaper then just one guy paying 500-800$ for 1year.

Fuck that, cheaper to make you're tribe pay for it too, if you want to play solo and not pay just off offline, there no point in renting a server if you're solo.
