Most alphas will let you build if they see your dedicated and friendly, just don't give up.

Stay hidden until you can get a metal base up with at least 10 turrets and some x plants,

If all else fails there's loads of good dedicated servers which are less savage lol

There are. Problem is that alphas are usually really big and really active. When a lot of small tribes move in they start purging the server because of the player limit. Usually happens when a full tribe can't get on. And then sp.e are just asshole that can't hit big basses

new ps4 server cluster "pc hosted"

Lightbent The Center & The island cluster is up and running now.
Featuring upgraded performance along with full time RP pvp,

3 factions centered around each corresponding obelisk (green, red, blue).
Where each faction is assigned an admin or two depending on population needs.

Think of each faction as an alliance of tribes with centralized trading posts pve area located at obelisks.
Tribes will build in close proximity to the obelisk with respect to terrain problems.
Along with their tribes name corresponding to the assigned faction.

If you choose to not be in a faction that is fine... however you are choosing to (go rogue) and will be expected to refrain from joining ANY tribes outside of a faction.
This will be enforced by admins.

Starter area coming soon, "goodie free for all where the newcomers can find a stash of useful items/materials and even claimable dinos" beware, other treasure hungry players may not be friendly.

Until then starter packs will be issued one a per character basis. (Argentavis + metal tools, canteen)
