Is this suitable for a 7 year old ?
A old 7 yr old, likes Minecraft, roblox etc

Yes. BotW is a great introduction to modern open world games like Skyrim or Fallout. Easy to pick up and play. My 4 year old nephew plays it.

The game is totally appropriate for a 7 year old. There's combat, but no blood. It would be a fun game to take turns (since it's single player) and help each other.
