He blows himself up to get around and throws bombs probably more indiscriminately than the people who play as him. So he could have lost his limbs... Almost literally whenever.

Personally think it's better if he just lost them because he's gone mad and doesn't care as much about his own safety. He doesn't need a Genji level tragedy story for that part. Already has the whole "home destroyed"/gone crazy bit.
