I was just loading the game and it was syncing files for about an hour and then when it was done it loaded the opening scenes of the game and I lost all my shit

Mine did it in November. Gave up for a month but recently started it again, forzathon achievements came back once I’d unlocked online and I got 200m credits for the inconvenience. Still a pain though as was level 400 and at 87% completion. Worried about it happening again tbh.

You can't loose them. Someone probably deleted it. Try recover it from xbox.com

Try syncing but cancelling that and doing it from the cloud. It must be in there
