dns change only speeds up teh quickness it connects toa name url......so maybe u connect to xbox live quicker but gaming will be the same

DNS has nothing to do with internet speeds. DNS, Domain Name System, just translates a URL such as

to an IP such as 8.8.8.8

In most cases no faster but try it out. as well as pretty safe.. use reputable dns servers as I see potential issues that could arise from ns lookups directing to a wrong site

Depends on if your isp default dns is congested or not I just use googles dns anyways

You really be a whole lot better off if you plugged it in directly to your modem
