Dont need to blow a ton on a "gaming " headset. After a certain price point youre just paying for a brand name.
Id reccomend the one I got for like 30 on amazon a year ago but its currently unavailable.

I have turtle beach headset for Xbox one for 30. Works perfectly on pc with a adapter that cost a dollar.

I really like my Steelseries Arctis 7. I have the wireless one in black. Retail is $150 but you can catch them new in box on eBay for around $100. I think I paid $90 for mine on there NIB. (Link for reference)
