URGH, every day I stumble across a new reason to hate the JOy-cons.
I have a Pro-Controller and a pair of Joycons. I want to play Mariokart8 on one switch console... But it seems that I can't use the pro-controller while my lady friend uses the (two joycons together) ... WTF NINTENDO????

If any one knows how to fix this issue, please let me know.

I guess I'm going to buy ANOTHER pro-controller. and then get rid of these terrible joy-cons on Ebay...

Since the latest update, I have issues with same set up. Either the left or the right Joycon struggles and keeps disconnecting. Fully charged and happens with either set of joy cons, so not just a faulty pair. Never used to an issue but is now. Happens with Lego marvel 2 too.

There you go. Also, in the character select screen press + or - and the controller applet will come and you can sync your other controller there.

I do it all the time. 6 joy cons and a pro for 4 people to play. Go into the controller settings and hit change grip and sync them through there if it's not letting you play.

Dude. I do it all the time. It works perfectly fine. You must not have the controllers configured correctly or something. It works flawless for me.

You can totally use the joy cons together as a controller while another uses the pro. I do it all the time. You're doing something wrong.
