Took me about an hour start to finish to do 2 joycons, and the back shell. Definitely not for the beginner, as I had to do some slight modifications to make the Plus button and a couple of the A/B/X/Y buttons move freely (needed to file and dremel). The colored buttons that come with the shells look super cheesy, so I used modded buttons from a 3DS. End result is worth it if you know what you are doing. Looks and feels great!
