So this is my first season playing comp. I know quitting comp matches early results in 75% less xp. My power just went out playing comp. am I subject to this penalty? TIA

My entire pc crashed while doing a placement match and I managed to rejoin the game in a timely manner and win, but it counted as a loss in my placements and I got suspended for one minute.

Doesn't happen for one offence. Has to be a pattern. Because it's placements you receive a loss.

you dont get the xp penalty until you become a serial leaver. for one offense you get a short ban and lose more SR than for a regular loss

You lose 50 sr if you leave a match and a small suspension which keeps increasing with each match and if you leave quite a few matches in quick successions then you get banned for the rest of the season and lose all season end rewards.
