So I got the free WD10 upgrade a few months ago and now it tells me it's expired... Can I reactivate it without paying for it? Because I didn't expect that it had an expiring date. Or do I need to repurchase it?

You can use win10 without activating it, indefinetly. Or go on ebay and get a working key for under 10 bucks

If you own your copy you can call microsoft and ask for reactivation. that works
