So, bought a keyboard from eBay and everything works fine except for the left arrow key. I open up the board to find what I believe is corrosion. From what I find online it's suggested to use isopropyl alcohol or a baking soda paste in order to remove it and see if that works. Any thoughts?

Use acetic acid or caustic soda. It'll clear that right up.

No luck with the isopropyl alcohol. Might try the paste if I'm feeling up to it. For the moment I downloaded a key remapper and switched around my arrow keys to the num pad.

You should be able to use the arrows that are on the keypad without num lock? Why are you using arrow keys anyway? They're rarely ever used for gaming unless you're playing side scroller.

Why would you buy anything from E-bay, why not use legit sites like Newegg or NCIX to purchase discounted and brand new computer hardware, and not used garbage.
