LG's OLED Wallpaper TV (and theoretically any OLED TV) is actually nearly as fast as a gaming class monitor (~8-11ms)

Guys, is it true that using a tv for gaming affects the quality of the tv in the future.. Or is it just a myth.

Right here, 55 inch Sony 4K with HDR. I prefer gaming on my nice comfy mattress on the big screen as opposed to sitting at a desk with a small monitor. I also watch a lot of movies so its a good balance. I use my monitor in the corner for online multiplayer though.

The lg does have a 16ms response time in game mode on their super uhd models for 2017. But the input lag is more important, on top of the super uhd models using a new nano cell display which has shitty blacks and terrible blooming.
