Question, has anyone here gotten a virus from using trainers on games?

Usually their false positives and are harmless, depends on the source I think. I usually stick with MrAntifun.

I downloaded the "BORDERLANDS 2 V1.0.29.X (+28 TRAINER) [LINGON]" one from megagames and the exe file did a weird thing where it sort of deleted itself? And when I ran in windows said it malfunctioned because it had a virus in it.

I'm generally pretty good with this stuff, havent had a virus in years, but this was very different.
