Okay guys. Ive never really uploaded to YouTube, so I'm confused on something. I'm Trying to upload some VODs for review, they are recorded with OBS at 'indistinguishable" quality. Massive filesize, but then When uploaded it maxes out at 480p, and looks like GARBAGE. Its been a few days so I know it (should be) done rendering on their side.

What am I missing?

You probably recorded in raw data or wrong codec, next time record it in mp4 or solething else suitable. Or you can search for a video resizer and use a different codec.

Btw can you play the file with vlc or other video player?

You're probably using a resolution that isn't supported by youtube and you really should re-encode raw video. lol
