ok. this is my normal system usage while playing fallout 4 on ultra at 1080P. i have a i5 6600K @4.5ghz, 16gb DDR4, GTX 970.
only problem is when ever i go inside, even if its a small building i go from using 6-7gb of ram, to using over 10gb. Does anyone know why would be doing this? i have looked around on google, but cant find any definitive answer, and was wondering if you wonderful people would know

Enlighten me a bit. What is wrong with the ram usage increasing?

fallout 4 is ment to only use 8gb max. but the spiking it causes has caused the game to crash or windows thingy to pop up saying im out of memory. which is very annoying

Does it do it with any other game? If not maybe it's a poorly optimized setting. Soft particles used to kill black flag for me
