Its extremely fun if you have wifi even on the go, I usually do Grizzco mode because its more fun taking down bosses with teammates rather than a paint bath on vs

Single player mode is great, it makes a good combat tutorial for multiplayer,
try to find all the sunken scrolls if you're interested in backstory,
getting to try all the different weapons.

I have bad internet so I spent most of the time in single player.

I've purchased it while on holiday with my Switch and haven't had access to WiFi. Having an absolute blast playing the campaign while I wait to get home. I like the way you have to explore the right amount to progress.

The single-player is amazing, and I can very safely say that as far as the multiplayer goes, Splatoon is the online multiplayer for people who hate online multiplayer.

of all the functions of the game except for 3 require internet
2 of which are story mode ( which is a weapons tutorial ) and a rhythm game
the third being local match which requires at least a second console
if you aren't gonna play online
I recommend not buying

I am not a Fan of multiplayer focused shooters myself. So I'm waiting for Mario Odissey, Skyrim, Sonic Mania and lots of other games that suit my taste better. There are tens of awesome games yet to be launched this year. Patience my friend.
