Man this joycons a complete frankinstein, has parts from 3 different joycons and after market buttons inside this thing. I've hade to replace the trigger twice, battery and now the side rail on it and it still won't lock into place right

Sounds like yiur going through it with the joycons.
Some people have those rail problems but i havent had it happen at all and i got 4 sets.

Either way upgrade to the metal ones if you really need it to lock
