Low speed internet inquiry.

Soon im moving back to my parents for studies. Issue is they live in middle of nowhere.
Internet is around 1.5mbps - 0.8mbps.
Satelite connexion. 40go/month limit.

Should I say adios to Overwatch? T.T

i play with 2mbps and its good
as long as not many people are online at the same time it will be good

Yeah that's what I'm scared for to be honest, idk if game against bots would lag too?

Here i'm trying the game out, so i'm quite scared of purchasing it and ending up not able to play it at all :/

I lag out with 80Mbps cable when everyone in the apartment complex starts streaming Netflix

^ That seem most like a internet supplier issue than a speed problem to be honest. I once had 80Mbps and even if we would all jump on it and use it 100% + there was no lag

It's is a speed problem. In online gaming bandwidth isn't nearly as important as latency.

The latency of sending data to a satellite and back to Earth is going to lag you out. Your ping times will be insane.

I use to have a kinda shit connection and as long as ping is good you should be fine

If it's anything like my parents' house, you'll go between being fine to absolutely screwed. You should be able to at least go against bots though.
