I wouldn’t say I main a certain character. I can play a few characters from every role except defense. So I’m running Soldier and Pharah for dps. Zarya, Orisa or Hog for tanks. Lucio, Zen or mercy for healers. I think it’s good to be proficient with a few characters but it would be better to git gud with one character. The higher you go, the better people you face and a jack of all trades player won’t climb as high because they’ll be getting out played more. That’s what I think at least.
