Its true the Big N hasn't released any AAA games this year, save for Kirby, and then ports of games from other systems have been making their way over to the Switch, disappointing some fans. However, the good is that some haven't played these games, they can now be played portably, and some of these indy developers have sold way more of their games on the Switch than the other consoles and steam where they originated!
Nintendo's relationship with third party has grown a lot closer than from the days of the Wii U and this is key to their success.

I am amped for Yoshi and all the ports. If they ported everything 3rd party from PS2, PS3 and PS4 era over to the switch I would be cool with that. And if Smash and Pokemon come out this year its game over !
