And no its not one of the ones that kills switches (that was the Nyko dock).

Digital video signal, is digital video signal, many many types of connectors can transmit it. Remember that the dock, does two things only, holds the touchscreen upright, and turns the connector from usb-c to hdmi. So if you had a connection converter like the one the folks above showed you, and a trained monkey to hold your switch, you would then have a custom dock. So, feel free to get creative and not spend 100 bucks on some piece of plastic off amazon...
