Is it even possible to get placed somewhere else after your placement matches if you do much better than the season before? I made the huge mistake and went into comp at lvl 25 and there I couldn't even walk straight. :3

No usually it would land you around the same sr you were last season

What rank are you? If you are bronze or silver and are legitimately better than when you got placed low, you can easily climb with a couple of heroes (mainly DPS like Pharah). If you can't climb, not to be a dick or anything, it means that you probably belong there

In my first placements I was put around 2000 sr and in the next season I was put around 2200 so you can be placed a bit far from your last season but not so much

i can help ya if you need any help on any hero ( eu server ) and i would recommend not to go in competitive till you have mastered atleast 2 dps 2 tanks and 2 healers
