I'm playing Breath of the Wild in Master Mode, and I'm surprised they didn't patch the trick for getting some extra fairies!
In case you didn't know about it, here's how to do it:
- Before getting to a Great Fairy Fountain (it cannot be visible on the screen), access your inventory, select the fairies and HOLD them in your hands (as if you were going to cook them).
- If you leave only two or less in your inventory, more fairies will spawn around the fountain.
- Approach the fountain with your fairies in your hands. Then, put them back in the inventory and collect the others around the fountain.
- This helps a lot in Master Mode, when we are sometimes surprised by hidden or new enemies that can kill you in one hit!
