I'm going to clarify this (relatively) quickly...

The Nvidia Titan V is NOT a gaming GPU, it's been made very clear by Nvidia already, if you go to the product page, there's no mention of gaming anywhere:

You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.

They even made it clear on Twitter:

You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.

"NVIDIA GPU Cloud has now expanded support to TITAN V, bringing the NGC deep learning software containers to even more #AI researchers.
You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.
#NIPS2017"

On a side note, unlike previous Titan's, this card not only isn't referred to as a Geforce GTX GPU, but the actual physical card itself doesn't have any Geforce branding on it.

Stop complaining about the price of a product that wasn't aimed at any of you to begin with.

"oH bUt PrEvIoUs TiTaNz WeRe FoR gAmInG!^%W*!&"

Yeah, that was before, this is now, get with the present people, Nvidia has finally transformed the Titan line-up into what it should've been all along.

Wait for consumer / enthusiast products in Q2 2018, then you can complain all you want.

GPU = graphics processing unit.

Games = graphics to be processed.

It will game fine.

Search up any of the previous Titan's, Nvidia always puts "Gaming Graphics Card" when referring to them.

Nvidia clearly doesn't want gamers to buy this, hence the high price tag, marketing, and HBM2.

Consumer Volta (possibly called Ampere) will come with GDDR5, 16gb/s GDDR5X, and GDDR6, and will be ~$750.

Personally I'm considering dropping my desktop for a Coffee Lake + GTX 20-series laptop seeing as The only thing truly separating laptops and desktops now is price.

The original release slides never pictured any titan card as a gaming card, it was only when the hype build that nvidia markted it more towards gamers
