I think the 1050ti and the 1060 are the best value for your bucks at the moment. I just built two PCs with those and they are quite good compared to the price. If you're looking for more high end the 1070ti are quite good or if you have cash to burn the 1080s/1080ti

I dont think I advised him to go for the 1060 or 1050i, I just mentioned that is some of the best value for money and provided input as to what FPS it gave in various games. I believe I also wrote about the 1070ti and 1080....

I would say upgrade to i7 first cause going 1060 from 580 is basically a sidegrade at best or worse cause some would say 580 outperforms a 1060 by a bit. so it's either 1070 or 1080

1060 and 580 are pretty close. 1070 isnt really worth it imo not enough of a step up considering price. 1080 or 1080ti if you want the best. But nothing is worth it with current prices.
