I need some help here I am out of ideas. My motherboard died so I had to buy a new one, My old ram wouldn't work so I had to buy new. I got 2 8 8gb 2133 mhz sticks. It only registers 4gb as usable. I tried reseating it, I tried updating the bios, I tried going into msconfig and I'm checking the max ram. Nothing has worked. Any ideas will help. Btw I tried google and everything I found did not work. Asus customer support is closed right now also. Specs below:

Mobo: Asus 970 pro gaming aura
CPU: AMD 8350 FX fishers
Ram: 2x8gb EVGA 2133

Sorry I never got the notifications for these comments. I have 64 bit windows 10

reinstalling might help , also check each ram slot if it works , it could be psu related you never know or just return the motherboard
