Switch I just got Skyrim for the switch and it says there's an update available to download....

I just got Skyrim for the switch and it says there's an update available to download. Well I'm connected to the internet and its telling me the download is paused. What is a solution so I can get the update

Are you downloading something else apart from the update?

Make sure your not playing any games at all while waiting for it to install.

Also if you are in a game that uses online features it will not download

Close all software except for the download

I see that you have no bars on your wifi connection. Your literally not connected to the Internet or the signal to the router is week( the wifi in switch is not so great as you must be close or it won't get a good enough signal)

i put to sleep and turn back on and normally its finished or starts back up

don’t have games with online multiplayer running in the background

while it’s downloading don’t play any online multiplayer games just stick to regular gameplay

I had to turn the switch off then back on. I was sitting right next to my router. I had closed all games prior to trying to download the update and that didn't work so I did a hard reset on the system.
