If you see a giga, they are passive tame, eat 2 rare flowers then approach with meat, Sam with Rex's and raptors

Look at everything you value in your life and be prepared to trade it for hours of metal farming and breeding. If you're lucky and survive the trolls, and the disconnecting, and the servers being ddosed and the general lag, and the dinos, and if you stop and take a moment and look in your back pocket after swinging an ankylo tail for 2 hours straight you can see Jat actually taking money from your wallet. And you will thank him for it.
