I have bought a PSU but the cpu power is 8 pin and my motherboard only needs 4 pins. What would be a good 8 pin to 4 pin adapter or 6 pin to 4 pin both ends go into holes

Does the 8 pin on ya psu split ? they are normally 4+4 pins
