How fast would you guys say the game recognizes your true MMR on a new account? Like if I'm playing on a diamond level of skill, how much longer after level 25 after doing quickplay should i wait to do placements?

3-5 games. There was a case with a pro streaming on a smurf and they monitored his mr internally

It should have a good grasp on it during levels 20-25 unless you're sand bagging during all your QP matches
