Hi guys, so I bought myself a new motherboard (Asus strix z270f gaming). While applying the cooling paste it dripped slightly over. What's the best way to clean a pin up?

The paste shouldn't be a huge deal if you get most of it off. Q-tip and alcohol. Then let it dry for a little while. Should be fine.

Thats fine I dont know why any of you are panicing. Like a few have said.. q tip as you call them and some alcohol rubbing liquid, will come off a breeze. Doesnt even look like it would effect usage anyway

How does this happen...... put a little paste and spread it to an even thin layer with a card or tiny spreader. Been doing it for 12+ years no issue. If its non conductive there shouldnt been an issue if u cant get it all out.
