reinstall a new copy of windows, and recover your files in the windows.old folder windows creates for you. so dont format hdd. just install over it

Sounds like what happened to my buddy's pc. He ran a benchmark test and the information leaked to a miner and the miner got into his pc after finding out he had a 1080 and a i7 with 64gb ram and remote accessed and deleted his user and all his files and was in the process of turning his rig into a remote accessible mining rig.
