Fact is, he's now a character built around one ability. If not just a buff but a bit of a rework.

I don't think he needs a buff or a rework, just bug fixes pls. I'm tired of punching someone into the wall then them sliding everywhere. I REALLY don't understand where all the buff talk is coming from. He's hard for a reason. If you're not near perfect with your combo timing or play properly around you're cool downs, you're going to get fucked. At least let there be one difficult character in this easy game.
