I use a third part dock when I'm away from home for a few days, a Scorel brand one bought on Amazon. I knew that with the firmware update 5.0 I will brick console and I wanted to know if It Will happen Also with my dock. thank you

Yes it will. Mine was not Nyko and bricked my switch. It was similar to that one.

I've used the official dock since day one release and I'm reasonable rough with it. I undocked it several times a week and re-dock it and it has absolutely no scratches from it and no bending of the device.
