Do people on here that play PUBG actually monitor their frame rates? I swear every day I see another "ez 200, 120FPS" for certain setups. When I'm sorry but just no.

Unless you're playing at Medium settings or lower (I don't personally), I don't know how you're getting those rates.

When I was running my 1080 Ti SC Black with a 4.8GHz i7-7700k - I rarely made it up to my 144hz refresh rate, if ever.

So it leads me to ask: why do people say certain setups get such insane FPS numbers? Post your CPU+RAM+GPU and settings and FPS?

I think you underestimate how low people drop the settings to. If people could they'd remove all the trees, grass, and bushes. People just want to win they could care less if the game looks good while they do it.

Jonathon Kinney Tayte Mccarthy Go to nvidia control panel and make sure that you have DSR set to off and power management set to maximum performance. The default on my card is to have these turned on and power management set to optimal.

Your minimum FPS is directly effected by a higher ddr clock mhz and the lowest stable timings possible.

De-lidded 4.8 7700K, 1080ti hybrid with max settings gets a steady 144fps in PUBG no problem. I run a hardware monitor and have fps counter set to display when I game
