Disney's Bob Iger to Step Down as CEO Effective Immediately - IGN News

Bob Iger will be stepping down as Disney's CEO immediately. Iger originally planned to retire in 2018, but stayed to oversee Disney's acquisition of Fox's assets and the launch of Disney+. He will be replaced by Disney Parks chairman Bob Chapek. Iger will remain Executive Chairman through 2021.
