Day 2- new problem-

New build isn't recognizing that my headset and mic are plugged in. All sound is going directly to my screen via HDMI from the GPU.

Suggestions?

what type of mobo and case do you have and are you plugging them into front panels or the board directly

Disable hdmi audio. Still may not solve issue. Better plug into screen.

Go into sound setting and set your headet to default device.
