Currently downloading dark souls 3. Is it as hard as everyone says?

None of the Souls/Borne games are hard.

They're just based on muscle memory.

If you don't have the muscle memory down pat, it will seem hard.

But once you have the muscle memory, you could quit for a few years, and come back.

And then it'd be as easy as riding a bike.

Just play it, figure out the patterns in the NPCs, remember them.

Your muscle memory will do the rest for you.

That's why it "gets easier each time you play it".

That being said, it is a fun and enriching experience to play and beat them all, and feels very fulfilling to do so.

I suggest using a controller for the Souls/Borne games on PC, by the way.

They're optimized poorly for keyboard use.

Easiest souls game I’ve played. If it’s your first souls experience, it’ll be pretty hard but you’ll learn.
