Since launching in Japan last month, Bandai Namco's Fishing Spirits game (Tsuri Spirits Nintendo Switch Version) has featured in the local video game charts on a regular basis. Its success has now reportedly resulted in shortages of the game across the country.
As a result, Bandai Namco has issued an apology – explaining the next shipment of physical copies will arrive in September. To date, the retail version has sold over 125k copies. Anyone wanting to catch this one sooner, rather than later, is advised to pick up an eShop copy.
