Cut a line across head to use straight screwdriver or if enough star left. They have bits with blades in between the star pattern. But for love of God pc people. If has the smallest amount of play don't try. Remember to there's metric and imperial. No metric fit snug. Then other obviously. But all pc stuff I've done is metric.. mm for those lost still..lol

Use a rubber band and you’ll get it right out

Drill the head off it then remove the rest of the screw with a pair of vise grips

Ai, so many ideas, the easiest and fastest is to put a rubber elastic between the screw and screwdriver head, push down firmly, turn gently.

Use easy outs

Get a elastic band, place it across the head of the screw and stick the screwdriver into the head through the elastic band. The rubber will fill the excess area.

I work on cars mostly but these work wonders on any size of screw

try a heavy blue elastic covering the head and jam the screwdriver or whatever in. It's the cheapest solution that might prove useful. Good luck.
