just buy a raspberry pi if you keep having issues, get a 8bitdo controller and download emulators and any and all roms you want to play on your tv.

You should probably know that the emulator in the Mini consoles is pretty awful. The timing isn't spot on and it locks out button inputs in a way that the original consoles does not.

Oh God I'm going to sound stupid but.. get a Mac. Because of openemu, it's like the best UI you can ever have on an emulator. Supports cores like Snes9x and so many more.
