Yes, but only a little in some games. It's a decent match up to be honest, and you can keep the gpu when you upgrade platform just fine.

I used to run an i5 2500k with a 1060 6GB. It works in a lot of games, but you won't get a very pleasant experience in CPU intensive games. I personally wouldn't recommend it.

This guy has been asking the same question but with different games.
Its weird how every time he ask this question his specs change. I5 3570 at 3.4ghz with a 1050ti. i5 2400 3.1ghz with 1050ti and now i5 2400 3.1ghz with a gtx 1060.
