Why do I feel like most people who say mercy is trash are the same people who complain about not having one in comp

I don’t like mercy anymore but that’s bc I use to main her but now I don’t find her fun to play anymore and it’s just frustrating, BUT if we are in comp and we need her i will play her.

I only really like Mercy on defense 1st point. I like when the other team has a mercy as she is really easy to dive.
