Tought.. does 4gb x4 2400mhz ram sticks give better performance than 4gb x2 3000mhz? Imo you have more ram lower mhz over high mhz but you have less ram?

It's better to have more ramsticks, just so the load is spread evenly.

Also, 16gb is better. I have 16gb 2400mhz, and it works like a charm. 8 is not enough these days.

That 8gb vs 16gb was just an example.. I know 8gb is nowdays less. Im just curious does more ram on lower mhz gives better performance than high speed mhz but less ram

I would definitely go for more ram over ram speed. Ram speed really isn't that important, sure it can help..... A tiny bit... But there are much better/cheaper ways of getting performance out of a rig than bumping up the Ram speed

4gb x4 would only give better performance if it was a quad channel system. (79XX / TR)

Increased my heaven benchmark by around 500+ by going from 2333mhz to 3333mhz DDR4 (both 16GB). :v
