I wouldn't do it. I've no idea if it would be a problem but for peace of mind stick to identical brands

Doesn't matter. As longs its the same frequency/ size. There should be no issue.

I've Frankensteined parts together before using different brands, sizes and Freq just to test parts. It throttles down to the lowest Freq but other than that. No problem

I have mixed Crucial and Kingston at X99. No problems.
