Thinking of joining a server. Can someone give me a rundown of PVP, and PVE? I got a good idea about what goes down in the two, and I was also wondering if anyone new of a good server?

Pve is for a "you vs the dinos" style of play where everybody more or less works together.

Pvp seems to be a hellaciously dangerous place where you often are more worried about the guy chasing you with a club and handcuffs than you are about the Rex chasing the Raptor chasing the guy chasing you.

My friends and I play pve and don't play publicly with others so we can play a slower paced game without worry. I guess we're what some of the other players call cowards, but we have fun.
