The switch cartridge is expensive to manufacture (apparently). So in the uk why are the digital copies £10 more? Plus wouldn’t I need to buy a memory card as well?

You wouldn’t NEED to unless you’ve used up all the storage on the switch itself. It all depends on how much space you have open/how big the game is, so nobody knows if you need one but you but eventually you will if you’re getting all digital games or get one of the games that takes up massive space like 2k18.

Digital likely costs more due to digital sales taxation or something similar.

Nothing to do with that. Nintendo need brick and mortar stores to sell consoles and promote their products. So they can't undercut them on digital storefront

Its the same with every game.
Online Vs Physical. Most of the time online is more expensive.

Honestly it doesnt make sense to me but yeah, not just Nintendo

To placate retailers. If the price was equal (or even less for digital as it should be) whole store chains would drop all software. So they get rich, and we get screwed.
